On August 5 at 19:00, Australian pianist Andrew Keese will perform one of two concerts in the Baltics at the Rīgas Reformātu Church, together with musician Julian Lyngcoln, offering a unique contemporary ambient music experience that blurs the boundaries between acoustic instruments and the sound space created by Erica Synths synthesizers.

Facilities

Riga Sound Recording Studio is located in Old City Riga in a church built in 1733. As a recording studio it was used from late 1960's for USSR record label Melodiya Riga branch. During 1980's it was rebuilt specially for recording purposes. Many world wide known recordings were made here. Now the studio consists of three premises. The largest is located in church hall and two smallest ones are in the basement. The first one ideally for large ensembles symphonic, choir etc. and remaining ones are for pop recordings and post production. It can be used also for live performances.

The studio's work has garnered high praise from recording companies around the world, including those from England, Germany, Norway, Finland, Austria, Switzerland, France, Canada, USA, and Argentina.
